As a condition of selling items in a Just Between Friends Consignment Sale, I represent, warrant and agree that the following are true and correct in all respects:
I, understand and agree that Just Between Friends (JBF) Northwest Houston and Just Between Friends Franchise Systems, Inc. are not responsible for fire, loss, theft or damage to the items I am consigning.
I also understand that JBF Northwest Houston is only a broker or agent for the Consignor. JBF Northwest Houston has no obligation to pay for unsold or missing items. Title possession remains with the Seller.
I understand the consignor fee of $13.50 is prepaid and due at the time of consignor registration. No refunds or transfers will be given in the event you do not participate in the Fall 2025 sale (9/17-9/23). I understand that if I do not complete and pay my consignor registration fee by Saturday, Sept 16th my consignor fee can increase to $15.00 for late registration.
I understand that I will earn 60% of the gross sales actually received by JBF Northwest Houston for the items I offer for sale.
I understand that I will receive my consignor shopping perks for presale when I drop of and sell at the Fall 2025 sale. I understand that even by paying my consignor fee, I will not be able to use my consignor shopping presale guest passes unless I am selling with JBF NWH.
I understand that I will incur additional fees of $.25/item if I have more than 5 "No Thank You" items pulled from the racks/floor for not meeting JBF quality & safety standards, or seasonal items that are not accepted. I also understand that if I bring seasonal items that are also marked to be donated and are not on our accepted item list, they will be donated and not returned to the consignor.
I understand that I will incur an additional sort fee of $50 if I have more than 500 unsold items to be sorted at the end of the event. This $50 fee does not apply to new sellers that have never sold at any JBF or sellers that choose to donate all their unsold items.
I understand that I may incur additional fees of $1.00/battery if any battery-operated items I am selling require a battery replacement during the sale in order to show that the item is in working order. I understand I am to test and verify that all batter operated items have working batteries.
I understand if I choose to utilize Express Drop off, it is $25 prepaid for up to 250 items and $10 for every 100 items after based on my tag count at the time of drop off. Any additional fees for express drop offs over 250 items will be taken out of my consignor check. I understand that the limit of express drop off is 450 items.
I understand that I will receive an echeck to the email registered on myjbftags.com, by October 7, 2025. I also understand if I submit a request to research a missing item, my check will be delayed a week and emailed out by October 14, 2025.
I understand that there is a 90-day window, from the date of issue, to retrieve and deposit my check. After that time, my check will become void and a $35 charge will apply to the original payment and reissue.
I understand that any clothing or item that is incorrectly tagged with a tagging gun (which is optional to use) will be pulled off the sale floor as a "No thank you" and can incur a fee. JBF Northwest Houston has the right to refuse all clothing if tags are attached incorrectly with tagging gun resulting in damaging the items. I will review the tagging gun guide/video to make sure I utilize the tagging gun correctly.
I understand JBF Northwest Houston will sell the items I am consigning for the price listed on the barcode tags I have created. I understand that the price sold will be controlled by the printed tag attached to the item & not any subsequent changes online.
I understand if my item is marked full price, it will only be sold at full price; if my item is marked to reduce, it will be sold at 50% off during scheduled discount hours.
I understand that I cannot change or edit my tags in my tagging profile after my tags have been printed. If I need to edit or change my tags, I understand that I need to reprint and retag my items. I understand that I cannot change or edit any of my tags after I have dropped off my items for sale week.
I understand that if I am picking up my unsold items, I will pickup my items during the designated times. I understand that my items will be donated if I do not pick them up by 7:59pm on Tuesday, Sept 23, 2025. I also understand that JBF Northwest Houston has NO obligation to pay or compensate for any missing, lost, or damaged items.
I understand that item research is not mandatory but any requests must be submitted before I leave consignor pickup on (9/23). I understand that items previously in my tagging account that were recently brought to a neighboring JBF cannot be researched as JBF Northwest Houston cannot confirm the item was secured at pickup. I understand item research request will delay my check being delayed until October 14th to allow a full audit.
I verify that no item I am consigning is the subject of any current, pending or threatened recall notice according to the Consumer Products Safety Commission.
Each item is clean and sanitized, in good operating condition & is not defective, broken or damaged in any way. If any item is returned because it is defective, is missing parts or does not work, I will not be paid any amount for the sale of that item.
I understand that by appearing in a public venue as a shopper or consignor, JBF has my permission to use my image and or video in any JBF publicity avenue they choose, & I agree that no royalty or other payment is due to me because of the use of any such image and/or video.
I am the owner of and have carefully inspected all of the items that I am consigning/selling following JBF Quality & Safety Standards.

By registering to participate, I confirm that: (1) I have read & fully understand this Consignor Agreement & Liability Waiver, including the Representations & Warranties stated above;
By registering for my drop off pass, I confirm that: (2) I agree to and warrant as stated above; & (3) no one has made to me representations, statements, or inducements that change or modify anything written in this Consignor Agreement & Liability Waiver.
